At Kettering we believe your extracurricular life can be as rewarding as your field of study. Every day brings you a fresh opportunity to expand your interests and try something new.

Join a club or organization – choose from more than 50 on campus listed below – and you will find a great way to socialize, make friends and even develop technical and leadership skills.

You can learn new skills such as how to salsa with the Dance Club, or pursue talents you already have like on a competition team such as Formula SAE, Esports or intramural sports – or get involved in groups with a cause, such as the Society of Women Engineers, the Black Student Union or Pride/Rainbow Alliance.

Did you know there is a Blacksmith Club? It is dedicated to metal working from the forge, chainmail production and more. Find out more by watching this video.

Into target shooting? There’s a club for that.

Is diplomacy your thing? Check out the Model United Nations club.

By getting involved on campus, you could become a trailblazer.

"Being the only female on the League of Legends team, and one of the first players to ever join the roster, is an exciting step towards inclusivity in a male-dominated sport. I have always felt welcomed, and I am hopeful for the future of our program and the future of Kettering-Built women. I’m sad that I don’t have much time left to ‘prove myself and rise’ as a senior, but I know that other smart and tough women will be there that I can pass this torch of determination to. Go Bulldogs!”

Lauren W. ‘22, Mechanical Engineering
